"I have to say of the many thousands of "electronica" CDs that I've listened to over the past 15 years, "Landform Code", is in my top 20, perhaps the top 10. I am mystified how little recognition this cd, and the other seven CD releases on the unknown FORM@RECORDS label, have gotten. It's sometimes difficult for small Japanese labels to get the worldwide distribution they deserve. Because of the lack critical or consumer attention, the CDs are hard-to-find, but well worth the effort. Each one is a classic example of Detroit techno, done right. "Landform Code" is perhaps the best on the label. It's right up there with Carl Craig, B12, early Black Dog, Ian O'Brien and As One.
