Artist Depiction is an intimate and immersive documentary series examining the lives and techniques of space artists.

Steve Dodd has painted space scenes since the 1970s. Working at home with no phone, internet or computer, he has created hundreds of beautiful 'spacescapes': visions of a positive future amongst the stars. Artist Depiction is his first recorded interview.

In the early 1980s Steve painted for classic science fiction magazines Starlog, Future Life and Omni as well as numerous book covers in Europe. He exhibited with Greg Hilderbrandt (famous for one of the best of the original Star Wars posters) and received a commendation from Arthur C Clarke.
