On 'Kundalini', Ivo Santos presents us with an album, layered with a rich tapestry of dense drones, reverberating sub-bass and circulating processed sounds, cleverly woven together with field recordings. As with most, if not all of VelgeNaturlig's work, on 'Kundalini' the tracks flow together as one, creating vast musical landscapes to traverse within the minds eye. Inner Vision Laboratory releases his new studio album 'Relics' from our friends on the Winter-Light label in the Netherlands. The inspiration for this album came from different science-fiction and post-apocalyptic books and movies, but also from the artists’ personal thoughts regarding mankind’s condition. ‘Relics’ is a musical illustration for the very distant future, where humanity has failed in its progress and moved to total annihilation. Relics are the only things humanity has left behind. Other higher advanced civilisations will come to visit our now desolate planet to collect these relics; these fading tokens of the past. They come to visit the Museum of Savages, who destroyed their own habitat and rendered their once beautiful planet uninhabitable. 'Inner Vision Laboratory' is a musical project brought into existence by the Polish artist/musician Karol Skrzypiec. Created in March 2005, stylistically the project qualifies as industrial dark ambient. Nevertheless, it also includes elements of ethnic music, classical music, et al. 'Inner Vision Laboratory' has released a series of albums on labels such as Rage In Eden, Zoharum, and Beast Of Prey, collaborating with other artists such as Hoarfrost, Roto Visage and Nepenthe. His other works include the highly acclaimed 'Anywhere Out Of This World', 'Perpetua' and 'Austeros'.

Over the last few years Ambidextrous has been working mostly on ambient or ambient techno music, but IDM has always been his "first language", so making this record was like a comeback to home grounds, a fun and easy journey. It started in early 2016 with two or three tracks that became key part of his live show but soon a brief experiment evolved into a full-length record. Adding more beats to sound texture was a good opportunity to play around with odd time signatures. Nick was also trying to put together digital glitchy IDM sound and the 70s space / sci-fi feel. The ideas of science, technology and progress (or "научно-технический прогресс" in Russian) were highly motivating for Nick as a child, and electronic music (a frequent soundtrack for movies or educational TV programs in late USSR) was a perfect implementation of this concept. #Ambidextrous #EchoesOfSilence #FantasyEnhancing

Nosound’s 2018 studio album Allow Yourself finds the band in a new space once more having grown alongside their evolving and borderless label Kscope. The new material is a stripping back of what has come before, and its inspirations are in a different field altogether, based on founder and songwriter Giancarlo Erra’s own shifting interests. “Time has arrived for a radical change towards an alternative and electronic direction, being the music I have enjoyed the most in recent years.” Giancarlo Era chose the track “Don’t You Dare” as the band’s first single & video to reveal this new direction: “The ‘daring’ aspect is part of the ‘allowing yourself’ process, expressed in this track by an unsettling melodic line and an unusual up-tempo conclusion with disco-like electronic drums.
